The Personnel Certification Body (OCP) of the MWS is responsible for carrying out Conformity Assessment activities, according to the EN ISO/IEC 17024 standard, within the scope of the Pressure Equipment Directive, transposed in Portugal by decree of law n.º 111 -D/2017.

The OCP awards the certification of professionals in the field of metalworking, namely Personnel who carry out Definitive Joints:

• Welders;
• Welding Operators;
• Brassers;
• Brazing Operators.

It is available for consultation:

Welding Certification (P12) - Defines the methodology used in People Certification.

Certification Scheme (PO.07) – Defines and systematizes the applicable requirements for carrying out the qualification of personnel who carry out definitive joints.

Complaints and Appeals Management (PS4) – Management and handling of Complaints and Appeals.

Management Commitment (DI.06) – Gathers management's commitment to the requirements of Impartiality, Independence, Conflict of Interests and Confidentiality.

OCP Regulation (DI18) – Describes the right of the candidate/employer, the duties of the certified person and the conditions for using the certificate, logo/brand and the rights and duties as a Certified Person.
